divisions permeate

what bodies let see.

You asked directions

not knowing the mountain route

or by way of back up

river highways

not your bed to make up

wind up after all in villages.

You want someone your way no longer folded

within the control from within but always without.

What is popular to say now may not last

as even more, no one

is responsible only you walk into the room so

you think you are here not am now no one but here.

But everything is there

attends to it but as to a party

only a stand up temp

impromptu in an

opportune dig

Qualities mark us all, rising and falling

image hydraulics

moving in us, screening us

as if moving lines deeper than water,

your genes as your guidepost no more

intervention by numbers.
