the shower
standing under the gentle warm stream of water
taking for granted it's availability
how fortunate to have it.
my thoughts go to the homeless 
to people in war torn countries
to drought in the dessert.
here in the southwest water is not so abundant
we are more aware of the water.
and where does the water come from?
so it can trickle down in the shower??
from the well

and how does it get in the well???
well well well
from the snow that melts in the mountains
so really it comes from the sky
